Epilekton is one of the oldest and most popular restaurants in Peristeri serving “home-style” cooked food. The restaurant was founded in 1994 by the Skagias family.
When it needed to move to a new address, the owner made clear that he wanted the new space to feel fresh and alive while keeping the immediacy and warmth that characterised the previous premises.
Once the client’s feedback had been gathered, an initial mood board was put together, and on that basis the needs of the new space were analysed: the style, the colours, the functional details for the workflow, the seating area, and the furniture and décor to be selected.
The core design was based on a modern style. The designer used clean lines with some small touches of rustic elements, which gave the space a warm, familiar feel.
Taking the client’s information about the workflow very seriously, from production in the kitchen to serving and handing over to the delivery driver, the space was designed so that the result would be exceptionally functional as well as tasteful.
The goal was achieved, giving the restaurant a fresh, modern presence without losing the warmth and familiar feel of a place where the customer knows they will eat honest, quality home-cooked food.
At the same time, the corporate identity was refreshed. The new logo was applied to collateral such as business cards, flyers, bags, signage, menus and more.
